MEET CHASE GRUENING
Founder & CEO
Chase founded GHW in 2015 and has been serving seniors with Medicare and Retirement needs ever since. He has been recognized as Top 5 Best of Springfield Independent Insurance Agent multiple times along with numerous top producer awards in recent years. Chase continues to develop and implement the GHW exclusive training program designed to coach and develop their agents, ensuring they stay at the forefront of industry knowledge to provide an exceptional customer experience. Chase graduated from Millikin University with a bachelors degree and completed graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and Southwest Minnesota State University. He enjoys spending time with his wife Emily, daughters Remi and Hunter, and dog Rip.

MEET TRAVIS GOVEIA
Senior Licensed Agent
Travis comes from a big family with four brothers, including his twin brother from Downs, Illinois. Athletics has been a huge part of his life as he played football, basketball, and baseball all the way through high school. After high school, he attended Millikin University. While at Millikin, Travis completed his Masters in Business Administration. Since graduating in 2018, he has been serving clients in the insurance industry, primarily in the Medicare market. He loves meeting new people and helping them navigate the Medicare portal. Travis and his girlfriend Sara are very excited for their future! In the meantime, he enjoys coaching high school football, spending time with his 11 nieces and nephews, watching classic movies, and spending time in the great outdoors.

MEET JACK HOCKADAY
Senior Licensed Agent
Jack went to college at the University of Iowa majoring in Entrepreneurship. There, along with being a student, he also played middle linebacker on the football team (Go Hawks). These two experiences led him down a couple different avenues ranging from traveling the country in a travel trailer with his dog filming a YouTube channel, to running his own boat detailing business while he lived in the lake of the Ozarks, to eventually moving to Nashville & getting into the insurance industry! Jack also enjoys working out, hiking, and being active in his free time.

MEET LUKE BLEYER

Luke grew up in Springfield, Illinois and attended Augustana College, where he played football for four years. He graduated from Augustana with a double major in accounting and business finance. Luke's passion for helping and talking to people led him into the insurance business. Before joining the team, he worked as an agent selling commercial real estate across the Midwest. Outside of the office, Luke enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with friends and family.

MEET CHRIS HUNT

Chris was born and raised in London, England before moving stateside in 2006 to attend Millikin University. During his time at Millikin, Chris played Football and completed his degree in Business Management. After graduating, Chris earned his MBA from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers) and held various Financial roles as a Commodity Trader, and most recently, within the Energy Procurement space. He currently resides in Nashville, TN with his wife Courtney and two daughters Collins & Camden. Outside of work, Chris enjoys hunting, watching England rugby and spending time with friends and family.

MEET WES LUNT

Wes was born and raised in Rochester, IL and attended The University of Illinois (Go ILLINI) where he was a student-athlete on the football team. He graduated from the U of I with a bachelor's and master's degree in management. After college, he signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Vikings. Following his football career, he began working in the insurance industry in 2018. Wes is also full-time Insurance Consultant for Troxell Insurance Agency specializing in business, home, auto and group health insurance. He enjoys spending his time at the lake, attending any kind of sporting event and spending time at home with his wife Megan.

MEET WESLEY COMPTON
Licensed Agent
Wesley is an Army Veteran and Retired Law Enforcement Officer. He has a Criminal Justice degree from Florida University and has spent his career serving his communities. After he retired from Law Enforcement; his desire and love of helping people led him into the Insurance Industry. Wesley currently resides in the beautiful, picturesque mountains of East Tennessee. In his free time Wesley volunteers with a Non Profit Organization dedicated to helping others. He also enjoys spending time with his wife of 24 years Shannon and 2 boys, Hunter and Nicholas in the outdoors hiking, off-road exploring in UTV's , visiting waterfalls and kayaking.

MEET FELESHIA CHILDRESS

Feleshia has been serving seniors with Medicare and Retirement since 2020 and joined the GHW team in 2023. Feleshia graduated from Illinois State University in 2013. In her spare time, Feleshia enjoys participating and coaching crossfit classes. Feleshia and her Husband, Cole, have also recently welcomed their first child. Feleshia is looking forward to serving clients all over the country with all of their retirement needs.

Brett was raised in Franklin, TN and attended the University of Tennessee before transferring to Tennessee Tech University where he double majored in Finance and Economics. While he has enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry, Brett is excited to start a new chapter as he helps serve clients with integrity and honesty. He has the heart of a teacher and is focused on building long standing relationships with his clients so he can deliver tailored fit service to meet their needs. Brett lives in Franklin, TN with his wife Missy and their two children, Ellie and Gunner. He is an avid golfer, outdoorsman, traveler, and LSU fan.

MEET ALEX SMITH

Alex grew up in Sherman, Illinois, and attended Williamsville High School, where he played football and baseball. After high school, Alex attended Illinois State University, double majoring in Finance and Insurance with a minor in Financial Planning. He has worked in the financial and insurance industry in various capacities. Alex started by assisting financial advisors at Busey Bank and later helped with annuities at Horace Mann. He then transitioned to work in the Property and Casualty insurance department with Horace Mann.
Alex enjoys the insurance industry and helping people navigate different options when it comes to insurance. He lives on a small farm right outside of Williamsville, Illinois, with his wife, Mollie, their two-year-old daughter, Ella, and their two dogs, Allie and Louie. Alex enjoys spending time outside, working around the house, raising honey bees, chickens, and caring for his family's garden every year. In his free time, Alex enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
MEET TAMARA BIVINS
Office Manager
Tamara Bivins is a retired CPA with over 30 years of experience in finance and health care administration. After graduating from Illinois State University, she joined the firms Deloitte Haskins and Sells and Price Waterhouse providing audit, tax and managment consulting services. Tamara left public accounting to join Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as Chief Administrator Officer for the Department of Internal Medicine managing clinical, educational and research operations for a Department of over 300 faculty, employees and trainees. She ended her career as CEO of Wabash Memorial Hospital Administration providing healthcare benefits, including Medicare supplements, to active and retired railroad workers. Tamara will be speaking directly with clients and companies to help with scheduling and gather pertinent information, while also helping Chase to better educate seniors saving CGA clients time and money.

Client Services Specialist
Taryn joins GHW as a client services specialist. With over a decade of management and customer service experience in finance and health care, Taryn will assist clients by responding to inquiries, resolving service problems, providing product information and serving as agent liaison. Taryn enjoys spending time with her daughter Ayva and is excited to join the GHW family
MEET SHANNON COMPOTON
Administrative Assistant
Shannon joins GHW from East Tennessee. She has approximately 20 years experience in leadership, quality, and customer service. She is married to her husband Wesley for 24 year's and has 2 children Hunter and Nichoals. Shannon enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys being out doors, hiking, visiting waterfalls and exploring the trails on UTVs.
MEET SETH KUNZ
OFFICE ASSISTANT
Seth Kunz is currently enrolled at the University of Missouri working towards his Bachelor's degree in Journalism. His love for reporting and communicating with others led him to working for Channel1450.com, Sports Radio 1450 AM, and the Williamsville Wire, Williamsville High's student run media. Seth enjoys hanging out with his friends in his free time.
